Description : Here we have an original rare Matchroom Boxing promotional poster from the National Indoor Arena, Birmingham England. After losing his WBO Middleweight Crown to arch foe Chris Eubank, Benn would move up a division to seek another title shot at Super/Middleweight. This being his 6th fight at the weight, pitting Benn against the South African Thulani 'Sugar Boy Malinger' over 10 x 3 minute rounds. Benn was awarded a hotly contested decision by referee Paul Thomas who scored the bout 98-97 in favour of Benn.
These Matchroom promotional boxing posters were never made available for public consumption, they were only made available to outlets with connections to the promotion.
