Description : Here we have an original vintage official onsite main event boxing fight poster for the WBC world light middleweight championship title bout to be held at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, USA, 15th June 1984.
One of boxing's ultimate shocks when Tommy Hearns knocked out the legendary Roberto Duran, he became the first boxer to KO Duran, and is seen as his pinnacle achievement, earning him his second Ring Magazine "Fighter of the Year" award in 1984. Duran was the reigning WBA Light/Middleweight boss but was stripped of his version of the 154lb crown when he got into the ring with Hearns for failing to defend his WBA title in a mandatory defence against Mike McCallum.
