Description : Here we have a super rare TVKO pay per view poster from the 1st fight of a trilogy between these two great protagonists of the sport. Mike McCallum was already a 2 weight division world champion having previously dominated the WBA belt at Light/middlewight. He was now the defending WBA Middleweight title holder when challenged by the enigmatic IBF Champion James "Lights Out" Toney in 1991. McCallum was stripped of the WBA title before the bout for taking this unification bout. This fight ended in a draw, and Mike went home with nothing, McCallum lost the second fight in 92 by a controversial majority decision the following year. Many felt that McCallum won both fights, absolute shafting!.....This poster is one of the last of the 'Old School' of individuality designs.
