Description : Here we have a super rare vintage fight poster from Barney Eastwood promotions from Tuesday, January 25th 1983 at the Ulster Hall, Belfast, Northern Ireland. Featuring Hartlepool's reigning & defending British bantamweight champion John Feeney pitted against Britain's number 1 ranked bantamweight contender Hugh 'Little Red' Russell. This contest was over 15x3 minute rounds & was settled in the 13th round when the champion Feeney was disqualified for excessive 'headbutting by the referee Sid Nathen. This is the only poster I've ever seen from this fight, not many produced & even less still in one piece.
