Prince Naseem Hamed, again living up to his prediction, stopped Argentina's Juan Cabrera in the second round with a devastating display of punching power to retain his International Boxing Federation and World Boxing Organization featherweight titles Saturday night at Wembley Arena in London.
American referee Lou Moret stopped the fight at 2:17 of the second round after Hamed staggered Cabrera with a lead right uppercut and a hard left, leaving him wobbling against the ropes. Hamed, 23, improved to 27-0 with 25 knockouts. Cabrera is 24-3.
