Here was another coup for the London promoters when they were able to entice Puerto Rican former WBC lightweight king Edwin Rosario ranked No1 contender to fight in a 10 rounder in London against up & coming unbeaten American Frankie Randall, who went on to break the great Julio Cesar Chavez unbeaten run 9 years later. Rosario ran out a points winner over the 10 rounds.
