Manny Pacquiao announced his retirement from the sport of boxing after defeating Timothy Bradley in their 3rd meeting by clear unanimous decision in a competitive 12 round fight. Pacquiao's second win in three fights against Bradley, although the latter's split-decision win in 2012 was scorecard robbery. Save for a few exchanges here and there and an excellent flurry from Bradley in the eighth round, Pacquiao out boxed his opponent at every turn. Not by a whole lot, but certainly enough to win in convincing fashion. He threw rapid-fire combinations, scored two knockdownsthe first from to a slip, the second from a punchand avoided Bradley's best shots. All three ringside officials tallied identical scores.
