Description : Here we have an original full-size official onsite main event boxing fight poster for the WBA/IBO world middleweight championship title bout held at Madison Square Garden Theatre, New York City, New York, USA. 2nd November 2013.
The Kazak monster forced a 8th round retirement onto the challenger, Stevens was down in the second round. Golovkin came forward with power shots and pressured the shorter Stevens from that point on. Stevens wore earmuffs with his gloves, going into a mostly defensive posture but still taking a serious beating for the next 6 rounds. The bout was wisely stopped between rounds to prevent Stevens from further punishment.
