Description : Here we have an original full-size Caesars/Main Events boxing closed circuit fight poster for the heavyweight rematch held at the Convention Center, Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA, 14th December 1996.

The rematch that all were dreading as the 1st fight ended in a 45 minute riot in New York after Golota totally lost the plot and fouled his way to a disqualification. He managed to repeat the lunacy in the rematch, dominating the action after being decked earlier in the fight he contrived to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory when Golata, who continued to cruise in round nine and was leading on all three judges' cards. However, with less than 10 seconds left in the round and despite repeated urging from his trainer, Lou Duva, to finish Bowe off with jabs, he unleashed a right-left-right flurry to Bowe's groin, sending Bowe to the canvas in pain. Cotton then stopped the fight with only 2 seconds left in the round and disqualified Golota, giving Bowe his second consecutive win by disqualification.
