Description : Original vintage onsite boxing fight poster from the Empire Pool, Wembley, London, England, for the 10 round heavyweight contest on 20th September 1966.

Just 4 months after his challenge for the world heavyweight crown against Muhammad Ali, Henry Cooper faced off against Floyd Patterson, the former world heavyweight champion, any asperations at another crack at the world crown were shattered when Patterson floored the British champion Henry Cooper twice before knocking him out in 2:20 of the 4th round of a scheduled 10 rounder Tuesday night. Patterson won the first two rounds and then dropped Cooper for the first time in the 3rd round for a count of three. In the 4th, a left and right to the head floored the Briton for a count of nine. Cooper staggered to his feet and Patterson went right after him. He smashed a left and right to the head and the 32 year old Briton went down for the full count.
