Description : Here we have an original Frank Warrens promotional poster for the British welterweight championship title bout held at the Rivermead Leisure Centre, Reading, Berkshire, England. 15th November 1989.

Reigning & defending British welterweight champion Kirkland Laing coming off a losing challenge for the European Title against Nino LaRocca still showed he was a level above all the remaining domestic up & coming competition when he took apart the younger man in 5 rounds. Laing put Collins down hard from a straight right in round two. Collins rose to his knees and barely beats the count. Collins was again stunned and down in round 5. He rose on wobbly legs and the bout is halted moments later.
