Description : Here we have a super rare original official onsite boxing poster for the WBA world lightweight championship title bout held at UIC Pavilion, Chicago, USA, 11th August 1987.
WBA lightweight champion Edwin Rosario defended his title against teak tough Juan Nazario the WBA No'1 challenger. Rosario successfully defended the title stopping Nazario by TKO at 2:43 in the 8th round. This was to be his last successful outing in his 2nd reign as champion as his next defence was against Julio Cesar Chavez who was moving up from super/featherweight to challenge for the lightweight crown & we all know what happened there.
