After sending Erik Morales packing in their third and final fight, Manny Pacquiao takes a tuneup against the undefeated but unproven Jorge Solis of Mexico. Pacquiao has trouble finding Solis with his power punches until a clash of heads opens a cut over his left eye and ignites a fire in the Filipino. Solis is dumped twice by left hands in the eighth round and fails to beat the count of Referee Vic Drakulich.
