Billed as "Laying it all on the Line", contested on October 7, 1995 at the Convention Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Lennox Lewis, predicted it would be over early, and it was - at 1 minute, 34 seconds of the 6th round. Lewis gave the Oklahoman a thorough whipping before a near-sellout crowd of 8,369 at the Atlantic City Convention Center. Lewis put Tommy Morrison on the deck 4 times, once in the 2nd round, once in the 5th and twice in the 6th. It was the 28th victory for Lewis (and 24th knockout) against 1 loss, and it guarantees him a title shot against WBC champion Frank Bruno. At the end, Morrison's eyes were glazed, one was swollen nearly shut, and his face was bloody. Though he was up and willing to continue, referee Mills Lane stopped the bout.
