Mayweather entered the ring being carried on a chariot to the song "Another One Bites the Dust". Mayweather Dominated from the first Ring 'a' Ding. Throughout the next 6 rounds, the quicker Mayweather landed nearly every shot against Gatti, who had no offense with which to return fire, or a defence to evade Floyd's pinpoint accuracy. Gatti's corner stopped the fight after round six, giving Mayweather his third world title.
