Ultimately it comes down to talent, skill and punching power as De La Hoya, 27, proved by knocking out Coley, 29, with a crushing left hand to the body at the end of the seventh round before a crowd of 13,814. De La Hoya (32-1) controlled the fight almost from start to finish, and it became evident that Coley (34-2-2) was in over his head.
