Description : Here we have the super scarce Frank Warren boxing promotional poster for the WBO & WBC Super/Middleweight title defenses at the Telewest Arena Newcastle on 13th february 1999 involving Joe Calzaghe defending his WBO crown against former WBC title holder Robin Reid. Calzaghe was bitter that Reid refused to face him whilst holding the WBC Championship in a unification bout and vowed to beat him. After twelve rounds, the judges scored the fight for Calzaghe via a split decision in one of Calzaghes toughest contests to date | judge: Robert Byrd 116-111 | judge: John Duggan 116-111 | judge: Paul Thomas 111-116 in favour of Reid.
