Description : Here we have an original onsite boxing poster for the fight billed as "The Homecoming" for the WBA, IBF and lineal world heavyweight championship title bout held at Madison Square Garden, New York, New York, USA, February 6, 1993.

Riddick Bowe dominated the duration of the fight, constantly hammering the former WBA title holder, Dokes with powerful combinations. Midway through the first round, Bowe scored a knockdown after a three-punch combination knocked Dokes into the ropes, which prevented him from hitting the canvas. After taking the referee's standing eight count, Dokes was allowed to continue the fight but was met with a relentless assault from Bowe, who was able to get Dokes up against the ropes and continuously batter Dokes with multiple-punch combinations. With 41 seconds left in the round referee Joe Santarpia stopped the fight and award Bowe the victory by TKO, this was a shadow of the former "Dynamite" Dokes who by now had a real cocaine dependency.
