Barry McGuigan won the vacant british featherweight crown when he stopped penprase in the 2nd round to win by TKO & this victory was a stepping stone to greater glories when he went on to win European & the WBA World Featherweight Title when he defeated Eusabio Pedroza that marvelous night at Shepherd's Bush in London.
